What We Teach

At Funscape, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture every aspect of your child’s development—from academic foundations to social-emotional wellbeing. We blend international best practices with local curriculum expectations to prepare your child not only for school, but for life.

Here’s what your child will experience in our classrooms:

Language & Literacy

We follow the Science of Reading approach, using evidence-based methods that build strong foundations in phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Through storytelling, songs, decoding games, and guided reading, children become confident and joyful readers.

Maths & Logical Thinking

Children explore numbers, patterns, problem-solving, and early concepts in measurement, time, and space through hands-on materials and real-life scenarios. We nurture logical reasoning while keeping learning playful and practical.

Arts & Music

Creative expression is woven into daily life at Funscape. Children engage in drawing, painting, craft, movement, rhythm, and singing—supporting both imagination and brain development through the arts.

Physical Development

We support both gross motor (running, jumping, climbing) and fine motor (cutting, writing, threading) skills through daily activities, outdoor play, sensory experiences, and purposeful games that support growing bodies.

Environmental Awareness & Science

Through nature walks, experiments, and observation-based projects, children develop an understanding of the world around them. We encourage curiosity, inquiry, and sustainability from an early age.

Social Skills & Self-Regulation

We integrate social-emotional learning into our daily routine, helping children understand emotions, solve problems, take turns, and show empathy. Circle time, group games, and guided conversations support confident, kind learners.

Mandarin & Bahasa Melayu

Children are introduced to Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu through songs, stories, role-play, and vocabulary-building games—developing listening, speaking, and basic literacy in a fun, stress-free way.

Enrichment Activities

Beyond core subjects, we offer rotating enrichment programs such as:

  • Drama and storytelling
  • STEM play and problem-solving
  • Festival celebrations and cultural activities
  • Ukelele
